Holiday I.D. Cards


Every holiday has its own I.D. card, almost like people do. 
In this upcoming year, we are going to fill out an I.D. card for every holiday.


Your Holiday I.D. Card will include the following information:

1.  The name of the holiday in Hebrew and in English
2.  The meaning of the holiday (in English)
3.  The Hebrew date
4.  The number of days we celebrate the holiday
5.  The reason/s for celebrating this holiday
6.  The special people/symbols of this holiday
7.  The place where the holiday was celebrated for the first time.
8.  The special food eaten on this holiday and their symbolic meaning.
9.  Special activities held on this holiday and their symbolic meaning.
10. The way you feel about the holiday.
11.  The way your family celebrates the holiday
12. Any suggestions or ideas that you would like to share


                                                                                       


TASK

1.  Write a draft with all of the above information.

2.  Hand in the draft to your teacher for approval

3.  Make you presentation


How to present your Holiday I.D. Card : 

Choose among the following :
(make sure to get the specific checklist from your teacher)

    * a powerpoint presentation
    * a poster
    * an oral presentation
    * a skit (role-play)
    * a comic script
    * a video clip
    * any other suggestion (check with your teacher first)
